Red like seduction, elegant and refined, the mule worn by Katharine Hepburn in the 1955 film Summertime is back to life thanks to the creativity of Giuseppe Zanotti. The tribute of the Italian designer to the film by David Lean tells the story of eternal beauty.
Giuseppe Zanotti wanted to recreate the famous shoe with a modern touch, reinventing it with a glamorous and très chic allure. This new version of the sandal is in red chamois leather with golden rivets, dramatic heels, a thin ankle strap and a burst of ruby crystals.
Exhibited next to the original piece on the occasion of the exhibition Trame di Moda – Women and Style, inaugurated during the Venice Film Festival last September 1st and open until January 6th 2013 at Palazzo Mocenigo, this new version is available starting from today at shoescribe.com and giuseppezanottidesign.com.

Giuseppe Zanotti ha querido rediseñar el famoso zapato en clave moderna, dotándolo de un allure glamour y decididamente très chic. En su nueva versión, la sandalia en ante rojo y con ribetes dorados tiene un tacón vertiginoso, una tira sutil y un lluvia de cristales color rubí.
Expuesta junto a la original con ocasión de la exposición, esta nueva versión está a la venta en la Boutique monomarca de Venecia desde principios de septiembre, y ya está disponible online en shoescribe.com y giuseppezanottidesign.com.
